Side-by-side clocks for cities worldwide. Plan meetings across time zones with live work-hours indicators.
The World Clock & Meeting Planner shows the current time in multiple cities side-by-side, with visual day/night indicators and a live tag for whether each city is in standard work hours (9 AM – 6 PM local time). Pin your most-frequently-needed cities and the list is saved to your device. Switch into 'Plan a meeting' mode to type a specific time in one city's zone — every other clock then shows what that moment looks like locally, so you can find a slot that works for everyone.
Formula
Local time in zone Z = UTC + UTC-offset(Z, date). Each zone's offset varies through the year if it observes DST.If your family is scattered across Karachi, Toronto, Dubai, and Manchester, your phone has become a mental time-zone calculator and you have probably already missed a sibling's birthday because you texted at the wrong hour. The world clock fixes the part where you tab between Google searches for 'what time is it in London' — it just shows them all at once, with a clear day or night badge so you know whether you are about to wake someone up. The meeting-planner mode is the bigger deal for anyone working remote: you punch in one time in your own zone, and it shows the equivalent local time everywhere you have pinned. For Pakistani freelancers working with US or European clients, this is how you stop accidentally agreeing to a 2 AM call. Two specific landmines to remember: Pakistan does not observe DST, so when the UK or US 'fall back' or 'spring forward' your offset changes overnight without anything happening on your end. And India is 30 minutes ahead of Pakistan, not a full hour — the only South Asian country that uses a half-hour zone, and the thing that breaks every cross-border scheduling assumption.

Built on the IANA time-zone database (via the browser's `Intl` API), so it correctly handles daylight-saving transitions worldwide.
The IANA time-zone database is the world's authoritative source for time-zone definitions, maintained at iana.org/time-zones. Each zone (like 'Asia/Karachi' or 'Europe/London') has a complete history of UTC offsets and DST transitions. Browsers ship this database and expose it via `Intl.DateTimeFormat`, which is what this clock uses — so the times are accurate to the second. Pakistan does NOT observe DST (UTC+5 year-round). Most of Europe, North America, and Australia observe DST with different start/end dates. Some unusual zones: India (UTC+5:30), Nepal (UTC+5:45), Newfoundland (UTC−3:30), parts of Iran (UTC+3:30, +4:30 with DST).
Karachi (UTC+5) is 9 hours ahead of New York (UTC−4 in summer / −5 in winter). A 9 AM Karachi meeting = midnight or 1 AM in New York.
London (UTC+0/+1) is 4-5 hours ahead of New York and 4-5 hours behind Karachi. Often the best meeting time for PK ↔ US teams: 5-6 PM Karachi = 1-2 PM London = 8-9 AM New York.
Dubai (UTC+4) is 1 hour behind Karachi, so PK ↔ UAE meetings are usually easy.
India ↔ Pakistan: India is 30 minutes AHEAD of Pakistan (IST = UTC+5:30 vs PKT = UTC+5).
Australia is split into 3 zones (Sydney UTC+10/+11, Brisbane +10 no DST, Perth +8). The Australian east coast is 5 hours ahead of Karachi.
Working with Tokyo (UTC+9) from Karachi (UTC+5): 4-hour gap. 9 AM Karachi = 1 PM Tokyo.
