Pro tips most people learn the hard way

• Always check tyre pressure when tyres are COLD — first thing in the morning, before any driving. Hot tyres after a Karachi-Hyderabad motorway drive read 4-5 psi above their cold value, so setting them to "32 psi hot" means they'll be 27 psi when cold, which is dangerously under-inflated and burns fuel.
• The pressure sticker inside your car's driver-side door jamb is the manufacturer's recommendation for YOUR specific vehicle, not the maximum the tyre can hold. The number on the tyre sidewall is the maximum — never inflate to that. Stick to the door-jamb number, typically 30-35 psi for Pakistani passenger sedans.
• Blood pressure is universally measured in mmHg in Pakistani healthcare — never kPa. A digital monitor showing 16/11 kPa is the same as 120/80 mmHg. If your imported monitor displays in unfamiliar units, switch the mode in settings before recording readings to share with your GP.
• Altitude affects pressure dramatically. Murree at 2,300m has about 75 percent of sea-level oxygen partial pressure; K2 base camp at 5,200m has about 50 percent.
